		<description>Fair picks and comments. Though I would see the Backstreet Boys as a dead end, raher than the beginning of anything. You don't see boy bands anymore. And the manufacture of pop bands goes back to the early days. The Monkees are a good example, though Dolenz and pals were far cooler than the Backstreet herberts.

Reminds me of the Chris Rock line about them, something like: "If they are the 'backstreet' boys, what's mainstreet? Sesame Street?"

As for Garth Brooks, I don't like anything by him, but "Friends In Low Places", which is just fantastic on every level.</description>
